Göteborg Energi Rya Biofuel Project

Context

This project marked my transition from technical site coordination into broader electrical project-management responsibility.

The project combined a major biofuel-fired steam boiler environment with fuel-yard systems, automation interfaces, fire protection, multidisciplinary suppliers and demanding execution milestones.

My role

• Progressed from site engineering into leadership of E&I package delivery.
• Coordinated multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Aligned daily and weekly lookaheads with material availability and client milestones.
• Acted as central interface for technical blockers, reporting and execution priorities.

Scope

• Cable containment, MV/LV cabling and terminations.
• Instrumentation, automation interfaces and fire protection systems.
• Material procurement and installation sequencing.
• Testing, redlines, QA/QC, punch-list closeout and handover preparation.

What I improved

• Created clearer daily and weekly planning routines.
• Improved alignment between workforce, materials and critical-path work fronts.
• Strengthened documentation traceability and progress visibility.
• Coordinated up to 50 professionals simultaneously.
